hi everyone,

it turns out that i was just doing things in the wrong order. basically,
i made BlastLib, blastmc, and userGen.. in that order. so when blast and
blastso were made they were not linked to the right generator. so once i
made the generator (userGen.so) and put it in the right place, and made
blastmc again, everything worked fine. also, i was using blastso, and
didn't notice that it links to libuserGen.so instead of userGen.so, so for
a while i didn't have the generator copied to the right place.

thanks adrian and chris.

have fun,

jason
