safe_mysqld

Hi!
I was playing around from UNH and I discovered that a user is allowed to
shutdown the mysql server (but not to restart it)!
This is a security problem (maybe in this early stages Jeff left it with a
purpose?) and it needs to be fixed.
Anyway, now the mysql server is down and Tavi wants to work over the
weekend (the trigger program uses the database).
I do not have the mysql root password so I cannot fix the problem I
created (I totally forgot about the fact that Tavi wanted to work over the
weekend and that the trigger uses the database).
Can anyone (Tim, Ed, maybe Jeff if you are still reading BLAST mail)
restart the mysql daemon?
Thanks!

Adrian
