I do the following:
./configure --prefix=/home/blast/vziskin/BLAST --enable-dgen
and it produces the following error:
loading cache ./config.cache
checking host system type... i686-unknown-linux
checking for an event generator... DGen
checking for g77... g77
checking whether the Fortran 77 compiler (g77 -g3 -O2 -fpe2 ) works...
no
configure: error: installation or configuration problem: Fortran 77
compiler cannot create executables.
Can anyone tell me what the problem is. Is this some sort of the owneship issue.
I appreciate your help.
