hi everyone,

there has been some interest in performing coplanarity cuts in addition
to the timing cuts for this asymmetry stuff i've been looking at.
enclosed are plots from show_protons_cop.C which shows the uncut version
(black) and the timing peak cut (red). just look at 11-4, 12-2, 12-3,
12-4 pairs. the plot is ptl + ptr (instead of ttl - ttr), so it should
be centered on zero for events in the same plane. it looks like the
timing cut (cut on ttl - ttr to get the protons) is quite good at
choosing coplanar events. the asymmetries as calculated from these
plots are basically the same as the ones i sent out on monday. next
i'll try to work out timing or coplanarity cuts for all relevant pairs.
please let me know if you have any suggestions.

oh, the plots are for runs 2423-2427.
