a) fixed some bugs in ntuple.C
b) tested the head version of BlastLib2 (v2 branch)
installed as libBlast.so.2.4 on blast,spuds w/the
corresponding cvs tag v2_4
this library works with Pete's new tdc_offsets macros
c) compiled and installed an alternate version of ROOT. [see other
