Hi,
FIY: I've attached the following beam-related variables to Epics.map
In order they are
*) l,r,t,b slit position (readout)
*) ligit and 4 nearby vacuum gauges
*) beam position upstream (lpm30, lpm31) and downstream of blast (lpm1,lpm2)
*) Blast PS current
so they should be in the datastream from now on. The ABS variables
are not in.
Note, according to CCR we should use only 16 bit beam position monitors.
They should be interpreted as "give absolute beam position, with best
effort on calibration and offset subtraction". Which means they are good
for relative changes, but have a systematic error that may not be good
for physics analysis.
Also, I've linked the beam position display for the whole lattice
to our main epics window (top left corner)
