* garfiled simulations (from doug to tong)
_ 500 parametrization done from garfiled data in B= -,4 + 4 kGauss
_ will linearly interpolate (smoothing is an option)
_ new pos function pos(B,th_track,wire-side, wire#, Slayer)
_ will need to iterate pos at least at newton level, will have mechanism
to avoid doing this if track angle does not change
* Wch position offsets
- aaron has determined the wire staggering systematic from constrcution
total cumulative effect < 50 um
- will need to redetermine relative dx (wire positioning inside a cell,or
uncertainty due to 1/4 mm wire in 3 mm hole). Typically 0 +- 8 um
- After all this stuff is in, we are still left with alignement uncertainties:
these are up to 1000 um and can not be account for in v2
* TOF position correction
- CC shows an original matrix approach to correct tdc offset to
arrive at a final, well centered TOF position (y direction) still w/o
changing the global time offsets.
- relative offsets could be due to fladher position, although this seems
larger than expect (up to 20 cm)
- played w/ minimization. Shows a correction of the order of a few cm.
- will send suff over to peter
* Montecarlo-v3
- TB: we should use only v3. In blast geom: adjusted cell wall thickness,
chamber exit foils, put some more comments. In fort.99: always have 8 CC
by default, describe DGen flags. In blast_init: CC aerogel density is
actually higher in front CC (n=1.02)
- had no time to check it in though. Will get rid of old geom files
(confusing)
