Hello,
Ernie has installed root.v3.05.04 as the default Root version on all Bates
machines, including those on nodes dblast and spud. The new root version
replaces v3.05.02 which we have been using for some time although it was
never properly installed.
Please update your ROOTSYS/LD_PATH to /usr/local/root if needed.
Both old and new root versions can be found in the /usr/local directory.
The root sources are on /net/data/1/ROOT and rw to everybody for
compilation, debugging.
The login environment for blast has been updated and libBlast.so.2.18
(nsed.2.18) installed as the current library in /home/blast/blast/lib
(bin). Regards,
