[BLAST_SHIFTS] runplan + B shift 5/31 summary

Runplan: we keep taking ABS data until monday to increase our statistics.
Up to now, only 3 abs runs. On sunday morning set up again unpol deuterium
for n detectors and CC gain matching (I'll be in tomorrow noon).

_ monitor the Wch signal to noise and data flow in general (command:
onlineGui on dblast13, then hit start). Wch S/N was very poor last night
in the Rsector chamber. Gas and BQM seems ok. Hopefully either the wch
thresholds were not 3 V or problem was beam related (see below)

- monitor the abs by periodically checking ligit and dissociator tube
pressure (curr 1.4e-7 for ligit, type caget ABS:PGFSC1bridgecalc for
the latter, curr 11.6. See logbook pg 100 ). Also monitor compression
  tube pressure (ask prev shift)

note lrn.C is being changed and also libBlast (new FF). so wait for OK
later on tonight to (re)analyze. The cerenkov are not usable for this
period as they are routed to new channels for gain matching.

and please be AWARE:

_ to close the ABS, close valves V11,V14,C15
_ before initiating unpol flow d2 (suggest 0.2 SCCM) make sure that either
the upstream/downstream/midstream valve is open BEFORE opening V5 (D2
injection). Midstream now open. For remaining instructions see ugfs
manual in front of abs consoles.

Summary day shift:
-----------------
no data. Set up analysis and hardware for CC gain matching. Checked
that after fixing "bug" in trigger CS we largely solve the strange
TOF tdc offset problem. See logbook.

Start unpol flow. Did not know of new valves downstream of injection
valve. Filled up line, crashed vacuum (can't pump through the capillary
can you..) last 2 hrs

However CCR reported that beam last night (max injection 70 mA) suffered
from a problem in Tx3. Energy spectrum was not what should have been.
Reprocessing Tx3 required RF guys and we had no beam till 3.30 pm. CCR
did some tuning we try beam with

Imax 130 mA however lifetime is 5-20 min up to 60 mA, and the BQM rate is
really only good starting from 60 mA. Shows a factor x2 dependence with
current. So with this beam we could only measure in range 70-30 mA which
is almost a factor 2 in average current

CCR has some more tuning to try, give beam back.
