/home/blast/blast/pro2003/hv/hvEpicsUserGuide. The reset will follow this

NORMAL OPERATION
--------------------------------

AUTO RING FILL

TO START AUTO RINGFILL

1.) Make Sure All Crates are ON

2.) Put BLAST in Standby by clicking STBY button at top of control window.
Wait for Readback to Read STBY

3.) Set Override Controls for BOTH Injection(BLAST) and Data Acquisition to
OFF. Check that the readback is correct

4.) Set RingFill(BLAST) to "Exp Enable". NOTE: Sometimes you have to toggle
it back and forth to get the readback to read correctly.

5.) Call CCR and tell them that you are going to start auto refilling and
for them to switch the "Ops Enable" to true.

6.) When both the Ringfill(BLAST) and Ringfill(CCR) are enabled you will see
Ringfill(Overall) enabled as well. AUTORINGFILL is ready to begin

7.) To Start Auto Ring fill set Auto Ring Fill Enable to "ON".

TO STOP AUTO FILLING

1.) Set Auto Ring Fill Enable to "OFF"

TO PREVENT ANYBODY FROM FILLING (AUTO or MANUAL)

1.) Set Auto Ring Fill Enable to "OFF"

2.) Set Ringfill(BLAST) to "Exp Disabled"

HANDLING CRATES TRIPPING

1.) See HANDLING ERRORS Section

HANDLING ERRORS
------------------------------

HANDLING TRIPPING CRATES - When Trip Status says TRIP

1.) Find out which crate(s) caused the trip by checking readback in
individual crate areas on the hvMainExpert window

2.) From this find out which detector channel(s) in that crate were
responsible. This can be done by opening up the individual detector control
screens and hitting the "display" button which will force a read out of the
"MV", "DV", and "CE". If the measured voltage is zero but the desired
voltage is not zero even though the channel is enabled, this channel has
tripped. Record it in the logbook.

3.) Reset the trip by hitting "RESET" in the Trip Status area in the main
window. This will reset the tripped crate to either OPER or STBY depending
on its current state.
