[BLAST_SHIFTS] 6/8/03 B Shift Summary

From: Bill Franklin (wafrankl@mit.edu)

On shift: Bill Franklin, Chris Crawford

Beam has been very good all day. The Ring has been consistently filling
to 90-100 mA with lifetime of 20-25 minutes. The target temperature and
pressure monitors have also been stable.

Data taking went smoothly during the morning. At about 11:30, the HV
supplies got hung during recovery from a WC trip. Ultimately, this was
solved by cycling power locally on all of the HV crates in the D-tunnel
before rebooting the IOC, but we lost over an hour getting going. We have
been taking data for most of the afternoon, although there have been a few
problems with event transfer which have necessitated restarts of CODA and
the Compton DAQ.

We don't have new asymmetry results since Ben sent out plots this morning.
Tancredi is here and working on analysis.
