at 11pm VZ came in to measure a.f. (see previous shift summary)

after a.f. measurement, we started taking runs on polarized Hydrogen. runs 2232-2234 are currently crunching. had persistent problems with wc L21 and L6.
L21 was turned down to 3750 for runs 2233-2234.

around 3:30 VZ noticed that ligit had dropped and discovered that the nozzle had frozen. (02 flow rate had not been reduced during the freezing of the nozzle.)
So now warming up nozzle and running with unpolarized Hydrogen.

started looking at asymmetry as a function of time to look for any correlation with atomic fraction. divided the runs from the weekend (2201-2328) into 12 hr groups and calculated the total asymmetry (L and R sectors combined into one asymmetry), and plotted this as a function of time - sort of. the points are evenly spaced at the center of the 12hr intervals, but of course this may not be how the runs were divided up over the 12 hr period. this plot can be found in the elog, or in ~/pro2003/analysis/macros/asym_v_time_2201-2328.eps. the plot shows the atomic fraction (red points) and asymmetry (blue points) as a (rough) function of time. please note that the enclosed plot is just an example. VZ is continuing this work during the rest of the shift.
