You are quite right. What I meant to say is that they do not change run by
run. For the holding field one will have to use measured data (the holding
field direction vs z) but those are measuraments other than coda runs or
they do not affect reconstruction.

And at any rate we are dealing with a E-logbook. It makes sense to me to
group all runs with holding field angle of 45.0 and 44.9 in the same
"batch" (or with h.f. angle of 0 and -1.4).

The true holding field value is in the epics data in those runs. Not in
the E-logbook.
