Continued taking empty target, holding field on data.
Between 4:40 and 4:50 problem with holding field current resurfaced. Again Set
Current was 500 A,, readback was ~300A and front of power supply read 504A. Townsend was called and believed a temp sensitive short in the power supply is a likely candidate for the instability.
Since there was no immediate fix except prayers and lowering the set current, I decided to continue on and asked CCr to set turn the holding field off, set the blast power supply to 30% reverse. Flowing of 0.1 sccm unpol h2 and asked to retune the beam and get the best tune possible as per Tancredi's instructions.
Empty Target Runs with holding field:
3098, 3099,
3100-3101 (with the problems occuring with the holding field occuring either at the very end of 3100, or begining of 3101).
