Hi, Tancredi!
To avoid all this mess, extra effort and possibilities of mistakes etc., I
would propose keeping pro2003 as the "batchname"...
In doing so, 2003 would have the meaning (and honor) of being the year
when BLAST started giving good physics data. I had advocated having run
numbers only in the MySQL database just to avoid this - but people thought
we might want to reset run numbers and start from run #1 every now and
then... Well, having big run numbers is surely better than having
different directories, environment variables, CODA sessions, adapting
TOpt, changing the RUN table etc.
My two cents...
