Operators: franklin ajmasch nikolas
Have been taking data on hydrogen for most of this shift, since a problem with the trigger was straightened out. The detectors have been behaving well after tripping a lot during the evening. The data appear to be good, although the online GUI is not reconstructing events. We accessed the Hall briefly to verify that the detector was in the correct position. The event display shows that a number of the coincidence triggers do show e-p tracks, but they don't seem to make it to the online GUI histograms. Also, there are many more events satisfying the (e,e'n) trigger.
The polarimeter has been set up and the results are encouraging so far with an
average polarization of 68% calculated.
