Operators: baris egeis ----
Runs 4778, 4779 and 4782-4784 are being completed. Coda hung on 4780. 4781 began, had 96k events and then RocL was no longer communicating with CODA and we were forced to reboot it. CODA couldn't close the run so we lost 4781.
With respect to the Crates... several problems occuring earlier as described by yxiao. We turned off and recycled the crates (All 4) upwards of eight times. Each time, different combinations were returning. I finally turned all four off, fiddled with the ethernet connections and ports, pushed them all in even though they were already connected, turned crates on and low and behold... all 4 are operational. The situation reoccurred one hour later: I, first, attempted the simple power cycle. Same results as before, so I played with the ethernet connection again, notably on the 4 port hub lying on top of Right phototube crate. Restart and again, All crates are back and normal. Thus, I believe connections and ethernet wires need testing.
Other than those problems, all runs have been very smooth despite the one ROC throwing a tantrum.
Lastly, I have plotted some of the data from runs taken last night into this early morning and have found an overall shift in the left-side reconstructed momentum. When plotting the missing energy of the ep elastic events respective of sectors, when electron goes left and proton right, the entire missing energy spectrum is shifted and centered on 0.04 GeV as a result of the reconstructed momentum of the electron. The opposite sector reaction (e-right and p-left) is centered (albeit broadly) on 0 which points to a larger problem in the electron's reconstructed momentum vs. the proton's when in the left-side WC. I'm working on acclimating myself with the code and the library and as yet don't have any strict projects to work on, so if I can help with understanding this, can someone with an idea about options please point me in the right direction.
