Hoping to reduce the overall dead time, I anticipated the common
strobe signal by 48 ns and reduced the coinc window to 80 ns. I think this
is the maximum one can do safely. Other changes would probably require to
run the XMLU in "non-transparent" mode. This changes brings an overall
offset to *all* TDC channels since the CS was moved.
Unfortunately it seems that these changes are not going to have
much effect, which is consistent with the ee'n data which shows mostly
"correlated" events in teh time spectrum. The problem will be revisited on
monday (a bunch of things still possible).
For this weekend please keep the forward LADS **off**, that will minimize
the dead time. For the same I did not change the prescale factor for
singles (we are still test running D2).
Please note:
_The CS delay is via a black delay switch box way under rack 3, running
between channel 16 and 15 of aNIM/ECL/TTL philips convert
_ the coinc window is set via the trigger gui via the TOF CFD width (4
settings)
