If the dead time is high or we want more singles, may I suggest
prescaling (e,e'n) trigger. All we need this trigger for (with hydrogen
target) is to compare rates between (e,e'n) with hydrogen and
deuterium. For this we can use a prescale factor, as long as we know
what it is. I don't know if anyone will need pi+ production channel
which could manifest itself in this trigger, but I doubt it.
