[BLAST_SHIFTS] daily blast meeting

It was noticed this morning that a large fraction of TDC entries, mainly
in the left sector were missing. After excluding that it
originated from recent changes to libBlast, Investigation in the Dtunnel
followed.
Problem was fixed by replugging the ribbon which connects the trigger
supervisor module with the frontends. Possibly the problem resulted as a
consequence of the high temperatures in the Dtunnel (at present 88F
between racks 1 and 2.

All data since end of the shutdown may be questionable. The discussion
about event rates and target density after the shutdown has to be adressed
again.

We decided to run polarized Deuterium over the long Independence Day
weekend (Monday 7/5 is a holiday). If the target needs to be warmed up
earlier, we will switch to unpolarized Hydrogen. Genya will prepare the
buffer system.

The beam polarization is 62%, slightly lower than last weekend. As a
crosscheck. polarization at the source will be measured.

The mentioned problem with missing ADC events in LADS L15 is still there
(and was thus not related to the DAQ problem this morning). I will
investigate this further now.

Regards,

  Michael
