the raid on spud8 has gone on the blitz, and it appears as if it will
take a lot of work to restore it, so it makes sense for ernie to just
reformat the disks and start from scratch. before doing so, has anyone
been using /net/data/8 for their own files?
as i recall, the only things on that disk were data/v3_1 (my own),
and data/v3_2 (recrunch, with copies elsewhere). if you have anything
that needs recovered, please respond asap!
