Running polarized deuterium. Plan is to continue until 11pm. At that
point we will warm up the nozzle and switch to empty target (Genya will
call in). Beam will go off about 7am.
Tomorrow the solenoids will be filled in the morning. The hope is to have
beam back around noon. Jan will measure the tune, the effect of the RF gap
voltage on the lifetime with an emtpy target, and will also optimize the
lifetime. After that, we will run unpolarized hydrogen for about 1kC, and
then return to running polarized deuterium.
Karen will increase the singles prescale factor while we're down, and then
we'll see how much we gain in coincidence events.
If the hall lights can be left off tomorrow morning, we'll run cosmics for
timing calibrations.
