[BLAST_SHIFTS] Daily BLAST meeting

Solenoids were filled by 10am; ramped up and ready to run around 2pm.

ABS flow was not improved by regeneration. Genya restarted the
regeneration, should be ready sometime this evening (after 8pm). Until
then, we will run unpolarized hydrogen.

Temperature and position sensors were added to the CWRF cavity, and the
feedback is being improved. This should give us better stability in the
beam lifetime.

About 2.5M cosmic events were taken this morning while the hall lights
were off.

Eugene noted a low vector polarization for the 9/27 A shift, although the
B and C shifts seem fine.

If the CWRF is stable, later this afternoon Jan would like us to run empty
target for an hour or so for some diagnostic measurements. We only need
about 1kC of unpol data, so the hour for Jan shouldn't be a problem, since
we'll be waiting for the nozzle to cool anyhow. Jan will coordinate the
time with our shift-taker.

I have changed the singles prescale factor from 3 to 9, so the singles
will now be about 1/4 of the data on tape instead of 1/2. This should
improve our Coulombs/hour and give us more coincidence events/hour, but we
need beam to see. First indication is that we're almost 80% live just
after the fill, instead of less than 75% live.
