sure, it's no Gen or T20, but it's got teeth.

attached is a copy of the d(e,e'p)n asymmetry vs pm that i've been working
on. a picture very similar to this (one that will include projected
error bars) is what i will show in trieste.

the data in this plot has had the dilution divided out of it (as opposed
to having the theoretical models all scaled up by the dilution). so you
are actually able to compare pure asymmetries, not dilution * asymmetries
or whatnot.

the plot shows good agreement between the data and the "total" model (i.e.
bonn + meson exchange currents + isobar configurations + relativistic
effects). such distinctions between models is only possible at pm >=
0.35GeV or so.

this plot (showing the various models) is possible due to the new monte
carlo formalism. the fact that i get so pretty of a picture helps affirm
the validity of the new formalism. remember that the new monte carlo
formalism DOES take acceptance issues into account.

this plot is actually for the UN-recrunched data. (the recrunched data is
currently giving me real-world problems probably not solvable by next
wednesday).

time to get drunk.
