At about 1am we switched from Unpol H2 to ABS D2. We tried to follow Genya's directions.... V11 wouldn't open and the Nozzle and Skimmer were reading default values. Upon a trip to the Hall, with Ernie in my ear, i restarted the Nozzle and Skimmer gauges and checked the status of the other 2000 gauges and everything seemed to be running well. I returned to open the valves in the proper order and tried to calibrate the smith probe. Wouldn't work... so Ernie came in and tried, finally Shannon suggested turning the Field off and everything fell into order. I placed the order for a 3-state flipping sequence and the morning finally began.

Taylan had just shown up to check on compton and said that it is not in optimal position with the beam. This is, most likely, being remedied immediately.
