i forgot to send this last night. better late than never...
for about an hour last night, ligit rose from 9.0e-8 to 1.0e-7 and stayed
there. this was not the temporary rise that has been occurring lately
between abs transitions; this rise lasted for an hour straight. plus,
while it was at this high level, abs transition spikes were still visible
on top of this ligit level (the spikes would peak at 1.7e-10). i called
karen and genya. genya said not to worry, so i didn't. eventually, ligit
dropped back to 9.0e-8 on its own and stayed there for the duration of the
shift.
additionally, as nikolas eluded to, the autocruncher had a few problems
last night. it seems to have stopped "cycling" every five minutes and
instead only cycles once. as such, it needs to be restarted every time a
new run needs to be crunched. i also had to stop-kill-and-restart
numerous runs. maybe related to network problems?
i think that's it.
