Hi all,

There are a few major modifications made from release-1-0 to release-2-0
tag.

1) The DGen part is completely removed. The other basic models are also
removed. This enables a faster simulation.

2) The blast.cc is no longer the main routine so the blast program usage
now become very similar to the blastmc software. To accomplish this, the
C++ part is given as a shared library. The major difference from blastmc
is now the parameter file usage. Please see fort.33 from the release-2-0.

3) To compile pionmc, please use root 4.02 or higher to compile. The
root 4.02 version may be available at bud18:/scratch/bud18/shino/root
(other than root.cern.ch). Please note that one must configure the
entire CVS tree (or at least BlastLib2) first to successfully compile
pionmc.

4) Radiative corrections to pion production is virtually available from
the release-1-0 and but still under development. The main problem is the
speed of the computation (although manageable). Also, I am not entirely
sure of the formalism, though I formulated by myself after the papers
such as Eur.Phys.J. C10, 681 or hep-ph/0101126.

I am currently trying to give a writeup of this release. I hope it will
be quick enough.

Thank you,
Aki
