recrunch status

Hi,

lrd-recrunch v3_4_21 has been completed and links in RECRUNCHDIR
for dst, flr, and ep_skim files have been updated. See details of
available crunch versions in the attached file "recrunch_status".

The new recrunch accounts for the new timing calibration obtained over
the summer by Mark Steadman involving run-by-run tdc offsets from
the flasher monitor, combined with control calibrations using
a number of dedicated cosmics runs.
The entire BLAST dataset for 2004-deuterium (7002-12143),
2004-hydrogen (12144-13278) and 2005-deuterium (13279-16506) has been
recrunched with lrd/v3_4_21. This recrunch is based on DSTs generated with
lrn/v3_4_14 (still accessible through ANALDIR).
The links in RECRUNCHDIR have now been updated to point to v3_4_21.

V19(2005deuterium) + v20(2004hydrogen) had used static timing calibration.
The pathlength got finally fixed only with v19, and the pion-pid with v20.
The momentum-cutoff was lowered from 0.15 GeV to 0.1 GeV/c as of v20.

In a separate email I will send a list of runs and detector channels that
should be excluded from the analysis. Note that if a channel is excluded
the affected run is still useful for the other majority of good channels.
Rejecting a channel acts like a local inefficiency, which should cancel
out when constructing the asymmetry.

Regards,

    Michael
