Dear Eugene,
you've asked me kind of the same question on May 16, 2006 (see below). The
only explanation I can offer quickly is the different momentum cutoff in
v14 compared to the online version. This cutoff is even higher with
lrd/v21.
There is a plot attached. Probably trigger2 has a lot of very low-energy
tracks that miss the TOFs but only curl up in the wire chambers, which are
discarded with the higher cutoff. You can break it down by trigger types.
What matters is wether your final yields for e'n depend on it.
Regards,
Michael

Weird... that email sent itself... I had one more comment:
The trigger 1 events are now outnumbering trigger 2 by a factor of 4.
wondering what happened....???

Need to know:
Were Trigger 2 events filtered in the lr-files in the directory:
/net/data/9/Analysis/data
to prevent particles in the neutral particle sector from having tracks?
The Veto on raw hits in the WC used to cut out more than 95% of the
trigger 2 events and now when I analyze trigger 2 events, and then use
a charge veto, I'm only cutting out approximately 20%... This doesn't
seem right because I could've swore that there were much more events
in the trigger 2 yield.
For run 11251: lr-11251.root
root [1] lr->Draw("qwl","qwl==-1&&trig==2")
(Int_t)2588
root [2] lr->Draw("qwl","qwl==-1&&trig==2&&hwr<13")
(Int_t)2093

Hi Eugene,
you scare me ...
It's all explained by lower momentum cutoff for charged tracks:
E.g. run 11200, 500k events, see attached plot of pwl
black: online crunch: nev=258933, p>~50 MeV/c
red: lrn-v3_4_14: nev=181935, p>~75 MeV/c
green lrd-v3_4_18: nev=72409, p>150 MeV/c
Most tracks are < 150 MeV/c, let me know if you need them (probably not).

Michael
