        Hi,

        Probably, something is wrong with /usr/local/root right
now. For temporarily, use /home/blast/tong/tem for root.

        You need to set ROOTSYS, LD_LIBRARY_PATH, and PATH in
your environment variable. If you have bash, type
        PATH=/home/blast/tong/tem/bin:$PATH;export PATH
LD_LIBRARY_PATH=/home/blast/tong/tem/lib:$LD_LIBRARY_PATH
export LD_LIBRARY_PATH
        ROOTSYS=/home/blast/tong/tem;export ROOTSYS

        Then try to remake BlastLib.
        This should take care of most of your problems.
