Hi, Blasters (cool name)
I have submitted into the cvs a copy of my deuterium generator. It is a
revision of already existing proton elastic generator, written by Chris
and me (hence the name, TBLedelLib.cc). The form factor parametrization
used in this code is from Abbott et. al. Euro. Phys. J. A7,421(2000).
Right now only two out of three parametrization specified in this paper
are added. The agreement between them is remarkable. The constants for
these parametrizations are in constdef.h as well as other useful
constants.
File edPlotsPar(1or2) lets you plot formfactors and varius
crossections for two different parametrizations. Those who is
interested I incurage you to use them to verify my own results.
Right now the generator used an old approach of a crossection
table. However, I intend shortly (I hope) to use Chris' PDF generator.
As to why did I rewrote epel generator and not just extanded it ,
the anwer is simple: it was easier and faster to do.
Please let me know if you have questions/comments. I hope this will
generate more disscussion and exchange of ideas.
Best regards,
Vitaliy
