discriminator masks

Instead of using the HV to turn on or off a particular channel
for test purposes, both the 3420 CFD and the 3412 leading edge
discriminators provide a mask function. The input is a single
decimal number. So the 16 bit mask pattern must be converted
to the appropriate base 10 integer. In binary, a 1 masks the
channel and 0 turns it on. Thus a mask of 1 turns off channel
1, 3 tuns off 1 and 2, etc.. 65535 tuns off all channels.
