Hi,

First I have updated the trigger map, since there were some changes in the
CAMAC crates recently!
The new trigger map is "new_10_17_2002.settings" and represents any
coincidence between Left and Right for all TOF's! Any of you should modify
this map and save it as you like from now one!
For those who work at Neutron Bars, I have made a "Neutron Bars" Logbook,
and is located near dblast08 machine. I have started writing down the HV
and signal cables no. from D-tunnel, you also have to fill in all the
corresponding no.'s from South Hall. Any data regarding NB should be
written down in this logbook! Adrian, please try to 'supervise' this
activity since we have made some conventions for the database (as cables
run, which HV slots no.'s, etc.). The ribbon cable for Left NB wall (from
splitter to CFD) is in Tancredi's office. Maybe some adjustments to HV
values can be done today during day shift for left sector (using the
scope and cosmics).
Regarding TOF's I took few runs with the new trigger map and all the
details are in the BLAST commissioning logbook, please read them.
But I have to mention few things:
1. CODA died almost all night! To be specific, it stops taking data after
a while (some random no. of events). Karen, please see the logbook for
details. But, anyway, each run has some data to take a look of it!
2. RTOF_Top#15 is bad (tube or cable)
3. we have lower rates than "normal"(compare with the rates in those
before and after the 'problem' ones) in:
LTOF_Top&Bottom#5
RTOF_Top&Bottom#5!!!
LTOF_Top&Bottom#9
LTOF_Bottom#15
4.LTOF_Bottom#0 as Peter mentioned, has a strange TDC behaviour!
After I checked the signal, which disappeared, I have changed the chip in
the splitter and I got it back on scope, but after another run, it got the
same behaviour (see logbook). It might be the signal connector (flaky)!
It also be a short in the TDC cable!
5.RTOF_Bottom#6 = bad timing!
6. almost no events in:
RTOF_Bottom#3 & 4
RTOF_Top&Bottom#15
7.RTOF_Bottom#7 only pedestal in ADC, though good timing!

Adrian, for the new trigger, new_10_17_2002.settings (any coincidence of
TOF's between Left and Right), good runs (to analyse) are:
2185-2187, 2189-2191 (but you can also try 2181-2184).
At the end I took a run (#2192) with an elastic trigger:
new_elastic_tof_12-15.settings (for e-p), but I did not have time to take
a look of it, you should do it!

Also I have discovered that the right Cherenkov TDC connector is broken!
