Hi there,

Since RTOF_Top&Bottom#15 was bad, in order to get a good data regarding
L/R e-p coincidence rate, I have changed the trigger to a new one:
new_elastic_tof_12-13.settings
and I wanted to see protons in paddles 12 & 13 and electrons in 2, 3, 4
and 5. The best run to look at it is #2208.
>From there we see more electrons on Right Sector and more protons on Left
Sector, but if we add them (i.e left_electrons+left_protons, etc.) and
take the ratio we get L/R=99.78%.
The same behaviour can be seen from run# 2211, with a different trigger:
elastic_p_10-11.settings, where I wanted to see protons in paddles
10 & 11, while electrons in 4, 5, 6, and 7.
I also used Scalers in finding the asymmetry, and use two different bits
in XMLU (as Peter did). And I saw actually a good symmetry between L/R.
Please see the logbook for more details!
Also in run#2208 one can easily differentiate electrons and protons, but
regarding TOF gain-matching I need Adrian to talk about it!
Last part of the shift I have spent it on NB!
First, good news, I have found the old NB logbook and the gain-matching
tickets for CC (from photonis)!!!! Near blast05 machine!!!!!!!!!
There we have got all HV values for the NB (and CC)tubes!
Then, I investigated the Left NB signal (SEE NB logbook) and I can come up
with the following:
1. 4 bars are not operational! Maybe limo connectors!
2. the first logic And (LNCoinAND) should be set: OR-AND, due to the
fact that its inputs are B and C (to have coincidence between left and
right PMT's)!
3. also for the cosmic signal, the logic And behaves like an OR, though it
is set: AND-OR!!!!!!!!!
4. The Left Neutrons are in the trigger, but they don't work well! I took
run#2213 with the trigger: LeftNeutron.settings and I have got some
events, but, TANCREDI (may be in this way he can read this part of my
message), did not use the ribbon cable I left it in front of his computer,
instead he ran the LONG ADC ribbon cable from splitter to CFD, thus we've
got a bad timing problem! Also after we change this cable we need to check
the neutronOR signal from XMLU (physics event) with CS (to TS) to get the
best trigger.
