The "short" cables to go from the splitter panel to the CFDs are 5 feet
long, lemo to ribbon. The "long" cables to go from the splitter panel
to the ADCs are 25 feet long, lemo to ribbon.
There are about 5 spare "long" cables in boxes in the counting bay --
we own 20 total. There are also some spare lemo-to-lemo cables (for
splitter to Leading Edge discriminator -- we own 6 total). There are NO
"short" cables there -- we own 10 total.
We use 4 of the "short" cables for the TOFs. So we should have plenty
of extras for the neutron counters.
Ken Hatch says he was given a number of bad ribbon-to-lemo cables to
send out for repair. Those should be back next week, hopefully. I'm
guessing some are the "short" cables we need.
