[BLAST_ANAWARE] LR asymmetries

hi everyone,

i repaired the damage i did to the timing cuts in cuts.C. the cuts work
pretty well and when you run 'show_protons_cop.C' (which plots ptl+ptr,
using the timing cuts) the coplanar proton events are pretty clear. i
used these plots to find coplanarity cuts and put them in cuts.C. the
coplanarity cuts (pclnn and pcrnn) can't really be used by themselves,
but could be used in your macros like:

Draw(histo, plnn[np][ne]+pclnn[np][ne])

the plnn cuts actually cut on the electron, but pclnn doesn't (that's
why you have to use it with something else) but has the right values for
plt + prt for each paddle combination.

finally, i have used the timing cuts to form LR asymmetries using
'show_protons.C'. this script now spits out a plot (see included plot)
of the LR asymmetries. there will soon be a plot (I can't make the
software meeting today, so maybe Tancredi can take a look at this plot
sometime. i'm leaving things running, but the plot should be done by
10:30 am or so.) in results (LRAsymmetry.ps) that shows the asymmetry
for each struck proton (there are 10 plots, for proton hitting TOF 6-15)
and each plot shows the asymmetry for the different ep combinations for
that paddle (i.e., the x axis shows the electron paddle number). the
errors shown here are simply the statistical error in the asymmetry,
which is roughly 1/sqrt(Npleft + Npright). the plot is for runs
2749-2756, which are at the 1300 HV settings, with field on.

thanks,

jason
