We should check again the slits/rates as there were problems with various
ring magnets that tripped during the day. Please measure rate also without slits.
Tomorrow the spin flipper downstream of BLAST and Pb shielding on a
downstream flange will be installed. This may change the bckg conditions.
We need more statistics now that the spin is flipping fill by fill.
As you noticed that is not done randomly but I guess that's ok for now.
We measure at 0.2 SCCM, since this is what we are expecting from the ABS.
Tomorrow evening there may be no beam. However even in that case shifts
are not cancelled and we'll discuss an "analysis plan". Cheers,
