Hello,
as you know, given the nature of our epics/scaler readout, we need to
tag each event according to the beam/target spin state in order to an
accurate analysis. This is now implemented in the electronics, Coda and
reconstruction according to the following definitions:
_ We have 2+6 status bits: beam helicity (+-), target state defined
(redundant) and the 6 |1>...|6> ABS injection states
_ They are read out from the beam left Cerenkov ADC (channels 56-63, see
electronics map)
_ Presently only states 1-4 are in, states 5,6 for D2 will be added during
the next installation phase (simply lack of pp space)
- To get this data from the event stream simply do raw.GetSHtgtdef,
raw.GetSHbeamhel, raw.GetSHtgtstate1...6 in your macro
- Changes to TBLRaw and electronics.map have been submitted to CVS
