minutes analysis meeting 07/05/03
DH: There was a mistake in how the drift-time to pos conversion was called.
t0/wire.cal had to restart from scratch. Hope to be done by weekend. Chris
looking at xdrift spectrum.
WX: new algorythm for FFit divides a track for six regions of constant Bfield
In each region the track is analytically solved. Ends up w/ the 3 measured
chamber coordinate (3 segments) + 3 "virtual" points. Chi2 is determined against
those coordinates when swimming the track back towards the detector. This is an
improvement as previous FF made one big circle (constant field inside Wch) and
continue a tnage from chamber1 to the vertex (no field between target and wch)
Still optimizing to reduce number of tracks to pass to newton. Will also add
derivatives to chi2.
blastmc: baris tonguc (BT) will start looking at it (detector response). MK will
be responsible for coding in LADS.
VZ: working on ETspy. Can spy event types so as to alert us when epics/scaler/coda
dies. Still working on it though.
