The HV epics control starts but apparently not able to control
Wch crates and daq. Not sure what changed. tried numerous rebootings.
Seems that the program fails somewhere before the HV Inhibit is removed
and hence DAQ is inhibited even when the HV Daemon is
run independently. When help arrived in the form of Tancredi early in the
morning, the HV inhibit cable was disconnected. This in principle permits
data taking the old fashioned way, without the GUI.
We suspect this has to do with changes in the epics database
due to ion pol Hv control.... The blast hv control program
seems to be the same of last week.
