[BLAST_SHIFTS] June 18th - graveyard shift

CCR has been tuning beam all night. Which also meant the D-tunnel has been
closed all night, so we could not investigate the possible LTOF0 cable
problem previously reported by Karen.

Adrian helped Ben get started with mounting PMTs on the BATs.
Chris had a long elog discussion with Sam and has been working frantically
on reconstruction. He also started recrunching older runs with the
(hopefully) improved reconstruction.

I generated some polarized epel Monte Carlo data and I have been looking
into MC asymmetry and recon resolution issues. The purpose was self
education (wrote my own macro for this), while waiting for real data.
I do not know if anybody else is interested in it... I attach some plots
anyway.

The first plot shows Monte Carlo (blue) and reconstructed (red) momentum,
theta, phi, vertex and charge.
The second plot shows MC (blue) and recon (red) theta_right vs theta_left
and phi_right vs phi_left.
The third plot shows the beam and target polarizations used to get the
asymmetries (I had put this in epel (GEANT) CODA stream two nights ago).
The fourth plot shows left and right electron theta histograms for
positive (purple) and negative (green) beam helicity. It also shows left
and right asymmetries (not enough statistics for asymmetry, I know).
The fifth and sixth plots show electron (proton, respectively) MC (blue)
and recon (red) left and right momenta, plus momentum resolutions...

Hope I did not get everybody bored... but this is what you do on a
beamless night!

Adrian and Chris
