Took pol. Deuterium data all night (except for some minor
interruptions. see below.)

runs: 103 106-112 (total of ~1.6M events)

EG crunched all remaining lrn ntuples, crunched these into flrn ntuples
and also ran charge.C on everything up to 110 and 111 (which are still
being crunched as we speak).

Coda crashed after run 103. Reset both fastbus crates and the trigger
supervisor and CODA came back. Also had to reboot HV (./BOOT). L2
tripped at the beginning of each fill. Ion polarimeter HV was turned
'OFF" but after filling and going to 'OPER' the Ion Polarimeter HV would
turn on, and then for some reason L2 would trip. Each time this
happened we turned Ion Polarimeter HV off and then turned L2 'OFF' and
then 'ON' and no trips for the rest of the fill.

Compton crashed a few times. Usually just had to restart it
(./pol_control), but twice had to reboot VME as (explained in the
Compton writeup) when the scalars and interrupts went to zero.

Around 4:20 the compression tube pressure dropped to zero. This was
caused by V14 and V15 closing for some unknown reason (we didn't notice
any changes in the holding field or the BLAST field, etc.). When we
opened the valves up, the pressures came back to normal and we continued
running.

tried to look at the output from '.rate' to see how the rates were
affected by the problem above, but the output from .rate was all zeros.
The '.chg' files are there. the only difference between the files from
the runs we took tonight and previous runs are the last line in the
'.chg' files, which is what '.rate' uses to make the plot.
here is the lines from runs 1101 and 1110:
 Run# "n_Elastics" n_E/C delta(n_E/C) <ligit> <celltemp>
 :: 1101 231 1.43156 0.0941895 1.15656e-07 0

Run# "n_Elastics" n_E/C delta(n_E/C) <ligit> <celltemp>
 :: 1110 0 0 0 1.12202e-07 0

not sure why things are different. charge.C didn't change during the
shift.

there is now a macro called show_deep_asym.C which is basically a copy
of show_ep_asym.C but for deuterium. The only thing that is different
so far is that i put cuts in cuts.C that select the vector deuterium
states instead of the H vector states. umm, maybe someone can work on
this as there is a strange bug that i don't understand. (comments are
in the code).
