[BLAST_SHIFTS] "A" shift summary 6-29-03

Smooth data taking continued from the previous shift into the A shift.
This was with pol D2 reading 24 sccm with a cell temp of 113K

BQM rates were: T = 119, B = 47, L = 91, R = 55 at 60mA

Noticed that the PHYS0 rate was ~70Hz/90 mA
whereas in the previous shift the rates were 95/40.
Checked scalers and online GUI to confirm that all detectors were working.
Trigger was not changed. Could not find a reason for this discrepancy.

WC signal:noise was about 4:1 worst case at start of shift.

Compton IOC needed to be rebooted a few times - and it was checked every
5-10 min.

HV crate 2 tripped then HV GUI hung. Asked CCR to hold on injection. Went
to D-tunnel to check crate and
noticed that the key for crate 2 is BROKEN OFF in the key slot with the
crate stuck in the "remote" mode. Used dumb terminal to start HV overall
for crate 2 (probably did not have to do this). Rebooted HVGUI and were
back to data taking.

Saw a slight deterioration of WC sig:noise as the shift went on, but this
appeared minor enough that a shut-down for space charge dissipation was
not yet warranted.

CCR lost a transmitter around 0400 but it was restored by the time the
auto-ring fill low current threshold was reached.

CCR again lost a transmitter at around 0720.
Note: the auto-ring fill must be disabled then re-enabled if CCR loses a
transmitter and then the current falls below the auto-ring fill threshold
prior to restoring the transmitter.

Cell temp rose slightly over the shift from 113K to about 117K

ligit remained relatively stable over shift: 9.8E-8 to 1E-7 Torr
lig73 very stable at 1.02E-10 Torr

R WC HV crate tripped at around 0542, 0553, 0715 -> reset
L WC HV tripped at 0730, 0735

CODA required a reset as ER stopped taking data (with appropriate
alarms and BPHY0 not reading) after reset, CODA again froze but this time
with no alarm, ER just stopped on event 2181. The run was ended without
the need for a reset and a new run was started. The compton was updated
accordingly.

Crunched (ran lrn, flrn, charge.C) for runs 1176, 1177, 1178, 1179, 1180,
1181

runs 1182, 1183 still crunching lrn at shift change (but did charge.C)

runs 1184, 1185 -> garbage

run 1186 just finishing at shift change
