[BLAST_SHIFTS] Shift, 30 June, 00:00-08:00

Peter Karpius and Douglas Hasell on shift.

Running polarised deuterium most of the night with only minor problems.

At the end of the previous shift Chris Crawford had a problem connecting to
the mySQL server. Complained that there were too many connections. Chose
to ignore this for the moment since it didn't affect anything.

Lifetime was quite short, ~12 minutes, so we gave the beam to CCR to
optimise. After a while we got the beam back with lifetimes around 22
minutes though lifetime varies across runs and inside runs.

Continued collecting data.

Run log stopped working. Problem with mySQL so we continued to ignore.

Around 05:20 the HV crate R1 stopped talking to the HV GUI. Peter tried to
power cycle the crate but this didn't help. Tried to reboot but could not
read from mySQL database. Couldn't ignore anymore. Phoned Ernie Bisson
and Tancredi. Tancredi told us the mySQL server was in blast05. Tried a
few other things but in the end rebooted blast05. This solved the problem
and the HV GUI could be rebooted.

Continued data taking.

WC R5 tripped twice but we have left it at the nominal 3800 V.

Run log windows open but do not close properly otherwise everything runs
smoothly.

                                                  Cheers,
                                                          Douglas
