At the start of the shift, the target cell temperature began to rise slowly although the temperature controller appeared to be functioning. Lowering the heater output power level solved the problem, the cell cooled down from 117K to 100K and was controllable afterwards.
Throughout the shift, individual wire channels would trip, eventually leading us to the conclusion that (coupled with the rise in the background to signal) the wire chambers needed some time off.
After bringing the chambers back up, one channel repeatedly would trip (WC-L18). Lowering the voltage by 100V did not help. By this point, it became clear that the beam was not of good quality, as could be seen by the sudden drop in current and lifetime, indicating a beam scrape. A call was put into CCR to tune a little and give us better beam.
