Re: [BLAST_SHIFTS] HV GUI for LADS

Hi Adam and Adrian,

the LADS walls are now completely cabled with HV and were attached to the
HV crates in the Dtunnel.
Please find attached a table with the requested information of the
stby and oper voltages, the trip current, and ramping speed.

Doug and I have also set up shellscripts based on the previous wire
chamber hv scripts, named LADSHVL and LADSHVR (in pro2003/hv)

The voltages and the trip current need to be negative.

As the values are overwritten by the ring fill software after each refill,
and the "save" button in the Epics GUI is only god for one life cycle of
the IOC, I can't really set the LADS voltages and keep them up safely for
the rest of the weekend.

>From running the scripts we noticed that there is no trip at the standby
values, however at the oper values the crates did indicate tripoffs.
I the tripoffs at the oper values persist, I would recommend to condition
the LADS walls at standby values of 700 V each channel, until this is
further investigated.

I would appreciate very much if you Adam and Adrian could take care of the
implementation into Epics and into the database as soon as possible.

Thanks and a good weekend,

   Michael
