         Actually we're NOT sparsifying the ADCs yet on readout. Pete has
been working on the code to look at pedestals and calculate an appropriate
readout threshold. When those look reasonable (i.e. we don't lose real
signals but we do cut pedestals), we'll use them. Maybe once a day we'll
use the configuration pedrun to read ALL ADC channels, so we have a daily
measure of the pedestals.
