Well,
I am glad to have suscitated such excitement.

The winner is "bud", short and to the point. We understand it has nothing
to do with beverages. So adrian can now collect his prize of 120 GB of
scratch area, on the machine bud1.

BTW: everybody else also gets 120 GB of disk space, starting from budN,
with N>1.

regards,
tancredi

About the voting "procedure"

_ a honorable mention goes to michael for "bmw's, Blast Multiple
Workstations", which was a good second. Unfortunately you still
need a vowel to make something readable.

_ "yam" was of course disqualified from the start, because of its ambigouos
pronunciation. Plus some insisted on the ethimologically correct Cassawa

_ McKenzie and Hal were found too literary.

_ WMD was not found at all.
