Re: [BLAST_ANAWARE] e-map, Epics map question

Hi, sorry I only see these messages today.

for Epics.map, one should always use the latest even if it is
different from the map when run is taken/crunched. The reason being that
we always only append to the map so there is no shuffling of channel names
and channel indices. lrn relys on a complete map for access to all epics
channels. if a map missing some channel names(like epics~02) is used, the
missing channels would get a random channel index and cause seg-faults
when lrn try to access: raw->epics[index].value.

As long as we stick to the rule of only append to epics.map, we should
alway just use the latest epics.map.

I do not know if the electronics.map is any different now from the one
used in that "dark period". Even there are differences, I bet the
differences are only in LADS and maybe Neutron counters. Should anyway
make no difference to Adrian I hope.
