[BLAST_SHIFTS] Shift summary 04/06/2004 B (4-8)

From: Electronic Log Book (elog@blast05.lns.mit.edu)
Date: Wed Apr 07 2004 - 08:19:09 EDT

Operators: clasie kohlm hauke

This first shift with H2pol was dominated by Wch problems.
Many tripoffs were observed and logged (see elog entries), practically every other minute, meaning that the "uptime" was pretty low during the first hours.
Trippoffs of various channels happened although tune was reasonably good (BQM T/L/B/R=93/32/58/29, WchL/R=52/43, singles 50).
Turned wch off for 45 minutes, but no change.
Suspected hall light on but had been off.
Subsequently, lowered voltages of tripping channels until stable run condition was achieved.

Channels presently at lower voltage: L1 (3700), L3 (3800), L5 (3750), L7 (3750), L14 (3600), L16 (3800), L18 (3750), L21 (3800), R14 (3750), R16 (3700), R18 (3800), R24 (3750)

Ligit was around 6.3e-8, H2 flipping between 1> and 3>
Runs 6342-6344 6346-6347 6349 with prescale factor 10 for trig==7 (PHYS6)
6352-6353 prescale factor is 3.
Runs are crunching, RUNLIST.2004 updated.
